Our VisionWe gather on Sunday mornings in love and joy inspired by innovative Word, music, meditation, prayer and being in relationship with each other.
We form small groups for study of God's Word, including the Bible and to learn techniques of Mindfulness and other special topics of interest to renew and rejuvenate each other as human beings living a Christ-led and compassion-filled life. We accept the spiritual curiosity of our children, young people, adults and the elderly and support their education and well-being through participation in the East Bay Lutheran Parish. We celebrate each other's talents and gifts and encourage the giving of our gifts in realizing God's Will for our Beloved Community. We feed the hungry, clothe the poor, pursue justice for all, pray for and support healing through our volunteerism and financial resources. We utilize our Church Home facilities for the good of our immediate Oakland neighborhood, sponsoring events that inspire and celebrate the joys of life. We love the Oakland CommunityAs an active member of the East Bay Lutheran Parishes Ministry, which is a collective of five Evangelical Lutheran Churches serving the Oakland - Alameda communities, we are more than the sum of our parts.
Together, United, Trinity Oakland, Resurrection, Trinity Alameda, and St. Paul sponsor a Champlain ministry at Bay Area Healthcare Center, Fruitvale Healthcare Center, and Windsor Willow Tree Nursing Center in Oakland and Crown Bay Nursing & Rehabilitation Center, Alameda. We also sponsor the East Bay Lutheran Youth Program which provides leadership development opportunities and Christian education to our elementary through high school age members.
